Yoga Workshops
I run several yoga workshops during the year, the aim of which being to deepen your learning of yoga. These workshops will introduce you to a number of new modalities, related to yoga, which will help you to develop deeper connections - with others, yourself and life - to live a happier, healthier and more fulfilled life. Here are the workshops I am running this year:
- Yoga for Emotional Wellbeing: a unique combination of yoga and psychotherapy to relieve the symptoms of anxiety and learn techniques of deeply restorative Yin Yoga. - The Generative Self : Yoga, Wuji Qi Gong and energy work to develop a state of disciplined flow and allow ‘creative consciousness’ to emerge - Sun 2nd December 2012 - Hayes Green Community Centre, Cannock
- The Feminine Power of Yoga: Healing the Wound - Embodying the principles of good menstrual health, using yoga and other therapies for a healthy menstrual cycle (help with PMS, fibroids etc) - TBC
Workshop Details
Workshops generally run from 10am to 3.30/4.30pm with 45 min lunch. Cost includes a CD/ DVD of the day's practices for you to use at home, and course manual with notes and further information. The programmes will include Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), Meditation and/or Yoga Nidra, teaching sessions and practices from other modalities, in particular Seishindo.

NAS Yoga Club for Autistic Spectrum Conditions
This yoga club is specifically for children aged 7-14 years old with an Autistic Spectrum Condition. Research in yoga and autism has shown to improve core strength and coordination, reduce anxiety and provide children with relaxation techniques as well as having fun.
Yoga for Anxiety and Depression
What is wellbeing? It is defined as "a contented state of being happy, healthy and prosperous". Our unique programme offers effective treatment of depression, anxiety and other mental health issues and is proven to bring about greater degrees of emotional wellbeing.
