Yoga Classes in Cannock and Stafford

I currently run three yoga classes. Two yoga classes in Cannock and one in Stafford.

Join our friendly and supportive weekly yoga classes for yoga and mind-body relaxation for stress management and wellbeing. Cannock yoga classes run on Monday nights and Stafford yoga class runs on Friday nights

Classes consist of postures (physical exercises), breathing practices, yoga nidra and simple, guided mindfulness meditation.

Classes include tailored resources to support your practice outside of the weekly sessions. This includes:yoga cd

Stafford Yoga Class

Yoga in Stafford: Yoga for Health

Yoga for Health is a new yoga class that starts in Stafford in December. To be held at Brooklands School, Eccleshall Road, Stafford, the class will run on Fridays from 5.45pm to 7pm. In 75 mins you will experience the bliss of Satyananda yoga combined with deep mindfulness practices and meditation. Ideal for anxiety and stress and leaving you chilled out and energised for the weekend, the class is good for beginners but will also benefit those more experience in Yoga who want to explore a gentle, more mindful practice and deeper meditation techniques (including tantra).

Through a combination of yoga and yoga nidra (deep mind-body relaxation) you will learn how to release all physical, mental and emotional tension to improve your health and wellbeing.

  • improve your strength and flexibility
  • overcome stress and anxiety
  • sleep better and have more energy
  • learn how to stop letting your emotions get the better of you

The Hall at Brooklands School is a particularly special venue to hold this class. The philosophy of the school is to provide a secure, stimulating and structured environment, perfect for yoga! It's philosophy is 'Founded in Faith, Forward in Freedom' offering a ready-made community feel!

COST: £5.50 per session (or £30 for 6 weeks) (concessions available for state benefits /carers/OAP)


 

CANNOCK YOGA

Hatha Yoga, Intermediate Level Class

Drawing on the practices of Satyananda yoga and integrating yoga philosophy in a very modern way to benefit mind, body and soul. Taking you deeper into both asana and meditative practices. Some prior experience is required for this class.

Mondays: every Monday.
Venue: Hayes Green Community Centre,
Hayes Way, Cannock, Staffordshire WS12 3XP
Time: 6.45pm to 8.15pm

Winter dates: Class starts Mon 9th January, is a weekly drop-in class.

Cost: £6 drop in or £50 for 10 week course paid in advance (concessions available for state benefits/carers/OAP)

NOTE: Changes to dates for Cannock Yoga class

For the Cannock classes, there are some Mondays that I am unable to teach during Jan to March this year - as I am fnishing my psychotherapy training.

Here are the complete list of dates for the first four months:

  • January: 9th, 23rd, 30th (NOT 16th Jan)
  • February: 6th, 20th, 27th (NOT 16th Feb)
  • March: 5th, 12th, 26th (NOT 19th March)


To make up for this incovenience, Cannock students will be offered a 25% discount off my yoga workshops this year.

Private Yoga Tuition in Stafford

Yoga in Stafford is generally run as private classes in one to one sessions. These sessions combine yoga, deep relaxation, meditation, mindfulness & breath work combined with transformational coaching to help you :

  • Build resilience and mental toughness
  • Overcome stress and anxiety
  • Increase confidence and emotional control
  • Increase stamina, strength and flexibility
  • Relieve insomnia, IBS, PMT, back pain etc

These sessions are tailored to suit your needs and your budget and include your own tailored support resources such as:

How it Works

After a FREE initial consultation and taster session, you will have a series of four to eight 60 or 90 min one to one sessions over a period of one to three months.

A bespoke programme will be developed for you and you will be given a training plan to work to in your own time in between sessions.

The programme can involve posture work, breathing practices, meditation, and deep relaxation. In addition to yoga we draw on the various powerful modalities including coaching, cognitive-behavioural therapy, neuro-linguistics, mindfulness, somatic coaching.

We also use biofeedback – you will have access to the EmWave biofeedback device (developed through 15 years of scientific research) to to deepen your learning, moment by moment.
